The basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of tumors plays an important role in the prevention and treatment of tumors, and it is widely used. Traditional Chinese medicine characteristic therapy has achieved remarkable results in tumor rehabilitation, and there are a large number of clinical cases to support it. The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of tumors has also attracted much attention, and the complementarity and integration of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine have been recognized. Related research and clinical trials have a positive evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine in tumor rehabilitation, and believe that traditional Chinese medicine has important value and potential in tumor rehabilitation. Although modern medicine has made progress in tumor treatment, the characteristic therapy of traditional Chinese medicine still plays an irreplaceable role in tumor rehabilitation.

Methods The cases were sourced from the Outpatient Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prevention and Health Care of Tai'an City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Shandong Province. The treatment period was from September 2022 to September 2023, and 120 patients were diagnosed with Qi deficiency functional constipation. Divide patients into Du moxibustion group, Western medicine group, and Chinese medicine group according to a the random number table method. Du moxibustion group: Du moxibustion once every 10 days, 3 times per course, a total of 2 courses and 6 times of Du moxibustion. Western medicine group: Lactulose oral solution, 10 mL/time, 3 times/day, taken for 8 days with 2 days of interruption, a course of treatment per month for 2 months. Traditional Chinese Medicine Group: Take Sijunzi Tang orally, once in the morning and once in the evening, and take 200 mL warm after meals, using the same method as the Western Medicine Group.Observation indicators: Compare the clinical efficacy of three groups, before and after treatment, the conversion score of Qi deficiency in the three groups, the total score of the main and secondary symptoms of Qi deficiency constipation in patients with traditional Chinese medicine, and the laboratory observation indicators: serum motilin (MTL) and serum substance P (SP) levels. Results After the completion of two treatment courses, the total effective rate was 87.50% in the moxibustion group, 72.50% in the western medicine group, and 75.00% in the traditional Chinese medicine group. The score of Qi deficiency quality significantly decreased in the Du moxibustion group (P<0.05), while there was no statistical significant difference between the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group before and after treatment (P>0.05); The total scores of the main and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine constipation in the Du moxibustion group, Western medicine group, and Chinese medicine group were significantly reduced compared to before treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of serum motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP) were significantly increased compared to before treatment (P<0.05); Compared between groups, the conversion score of Qi deficiency and substance, as well as the total score of main and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine constipation in the Du moxibustion group were significantly lower than those in the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group (P<0.05), and the serum levels of motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP) were higher than those in the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group; There was no statistical significant difference between the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group in terms of the transformation score of Qi deficiency and substance, the total score of the main and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine constipation, and the changes in serum motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP) levels. Conclusion The Du moxibustion group, the Western medicine group, and the Chinese medicine group all have therapeutic effects on Qi deficiency functional constipation. However, the Du moxibustion group can also correct the constitutional bias of patients with Qi deficiency functional constipation, improve the internal environment of the human body, and further increase serum levels of motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP). Correcting the biased state of qi deficiency is the target for curing qi deficiency constipation from the root cause.

Physical fatigue is a feeling of bodily lassitude, lack of strength, or general exhaustion, which may be accompanied by a decline in physical activity. There are many relevant expositions on physical fatigue in ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine, most of which believe that it is closely related to the liver, kidney, lung, and spleen. There are mainly four theories about the mechanism of physical fatigue in modern medicine, namely the theory of energy failure, the theory of blockage, the theory of protection and inhibition, and the theory of free radicals. Based on ancient TCM literature and modern theoretical understanding of pathophysiology, relevant research was conducted to explore the efficacy of the monarch, minister, adjuvant, and shi drugs in fetal chrysanthemum and wolfberry tea and the basis for their prescriptions. Fetal chrysanthemum wolfberry tea can not only embody the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the experience of doctors of past dynasties, but also embody the research results of modern pharmacology. Fetal chrysanthemum wolfberry tea is in line with the essence of syndrome differentiation in traditional Chinese medicine, and the prescriptions are based on sufficient basis, which is worthy of further study.

A Probe Into the Treatment of Dementia by Abdominal Acupuncture Based on the Multi-Layer Regulation Theory of "Heaven, Earth and Man"
JIANG Shuai, ZHENG Min, WANG Zi-dong, ZHANG Yu-rong, LI Yong
    ZHONGHUA YANGSHENG BAOJIAN    2024, 42 (3): 77-81.
    Abstract76)      PDF(pc) (2119KB)(60)       Save
As a chronic neurodegenerative disease, dementia is characterized by cognitive memory impairment. The pathogenesis of dementia is complicated, and there are no specific clinical drugs. The basic pathogenesis of dementia is the deficiency of marrow sea and the failure of magic machine. Deficiency of yin essence, qi and blood is based on deficiency; qi, fire, phlegm and blood stasis block brain collaterals inside, so the treatment of dementia needs to regulate viscera from the inside and dredge channels and collaterals from the outside. Abdominal acupuncture therapy has its unique efficacy in the treatment of dementia. It is based on meridians and viscera, with the overall concept and syndrome differentiation of viscera as the core. Abdominal acupoints are longitudinally divided into three layers: heaven, human and earth according to the depth of acupuncture, and each level. According to the location of pathological changes, meridians and related viscera projected on the abdomen, acupoints can play a role in regulating and controlling different systems according to syndrome differentiation. It can regulate the relevant parts of the lesions, meridians and viscera respectively, so as to achieve the purpose of treating both the symptoms and the root causes of dementia. Based on the close relationship between abdomen and brain, this paper organically combines the characteristics of abdominal acupuncture regulating different systems according to levels and parts with the pathogenesis of dementia, and probes into a new idea of clinical application of abdominal acupuncture in the treatment of dementia and other encephalopathy.

The two groups were treated for 12 weeks, and the total effective rates of the two groups were compared with the Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) Lower Back Pain Score, Visual Analog Synthesis (VAS) Score, Self-Assessment Scale for Anxiety (SAS), Self-Assessment Scale for Depression (SDS) Score, and the total effective rates of the two groups before and after the treatment. Results The total effective rate and JOA score of the observation group after treatment were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The VAS score, SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after treatment and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Traction combined with rehabilitation exercises can more effectively relieve lumbar pain symptoms in patients with lumbar disc herniation, reduce the overall pain problem of the patient, and better regulate the patient's anxiety, depression and other negative emotions due to the disease and pain, the treatment is more efficient.
