Abstract: Objective To explore and analyze the clinical effects of oral administration of Diclofenac Sodium Capsules combined with exercise rehabilitation in the acute phase of primary frozen shoulder. Methods A total of 52 patients with acute frozen shoulder who visited the Department of Sports Medicine at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital from June 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients received treatment with Diclofe nac Sodium Dual Release Enteric-coated Capsules combined with exercise rehabilitation. The American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Scale(ASES)scores and The Vsual Analog Scale (VAS) scores for pain and shoulder joint range of motion were compared between patients before and one month after treatment, and the treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction were evaluated. Results There was a significant improvement in the range of motion, ASES scores and VAS scores of all patients after one month of treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.05). The treatment effectiveness rate was 94.23%, and the patient satisfaction score was (7.88±1.43)points. Conclusion The combination of oral administration of Diclofenac Sodium Dual Release Enteric-coated Capsules and exercise rehabilitation in the acute phase of primary frozen shoulder significantly alleviates pain and improves range of motion in patients. The treatment has a high effectiveness rate and patient satisfaction, suggesting that it is worthy of further promotion.
