Progress of TCM External Treatment of Eczema

Abstract: Eczema is a common skin system disease with high incidence rate in different age stages. It can be divided into acute eczema, subacute eczema and chronic eczema according to the duration of the disease. The main manifestation of acute eczema was obvious exudative tendency; Subacute eczema usually develops on the basis of acute eczema, showing erythema, scales and mild infiltration; Chronic eczema is persistent in the development of the first two, mostly manifested as lichenoid changes, itching is obvious, which seriously affects the quality of life. TCM external treatment includes drug therapy and non-drug therapy. After clinical proof, TCM external treatment of eczema has the advantages of various methods, accurate efficacy, economic benefits, high safety and low recurrence rate. Here is a summary of the current research progress in the treatment of eczema with external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine.
