Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of Maxingshigan Decoction combined with doxycycline in the treatment of pulmonary fever. Methods A total of 100 patients with lung disease admitted to Enping Branch of Jiangmen Wuyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to June 2021 were selected as research objects, and randomly divided into control group (n=50) and observation group (n=50). The control group was given doxycycline treatment, and the observation group was given doxycycline combined with Maxingshigan decoction plus or minus treatment. The therapeutic effect and the changes of related inflammatory indexes were compared between the two groups. Results The total response rate of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, statistically significant (P<0.05). In the observation group, fever, cough and expectoration were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). The inflammatory index was significantly lower than the control group, significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Compared with doxycycline alone, Maxingshigan Decoction combined with dotetracycline has obvious advantages in the treatment of patients with lung disease and high fever. It can significantly shorten the time of disappearance of clinical symptoms and reduce related inflammatory indicators, with high safety.
