    Comparison of the Treatment Effectiveness between Two Vanbeek Activators with Different Load-Points of Extraoral Force in the Treatment of Children’s Skeletal Class Ⅱ Malocclusion

    Objective To compare the treatment effectiveness of two kinds of Vanbeek activators with different load-points of extraoral force in the treatment of children’s skeletal class Ⅱ malocclusion. Methods Thirty cases were included from January 2019 to December 2020. In the experimental group, improved Vanbeek activators with facebows extending between central and lateral incisors were used. In the control group, conventional Vanbeek activators with facebows extending between first and second premolars were used. Pretreatment and post-treatment lateral cephalometric radiographs of patients were collected for measurement. Results After treatment, the MP-FH (P=0.014), ANS-Me/Ar-Go ratio (P=0.042) and OP-FH (P=0.013) in the experimental group decreased significantly than the ones in the control group. between two groups in the change of SNA, SNB, ANB, Y axis angle, ANS-Me/N-Me ratio, U1-SN, and L1-MP, the difference is not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion The load-point of improved Vanbeek activator was in front of the resistance centers of upper arch and maxilla, which led to counter clockwise rotation of jaws and was effective in vertical control in moderate to high angle children with skeletal class Ⅱ malocclusion.

    Therapeutic Efficacy of Blood-Production Mixture in Treating Anaemia in Pregnancy and Its Effect on RBC, Hb, MCV and FER Levels

    Objective To investigate the efficacy of Shengxuebao mixture in the treatment of anemia during pregnancy and its effects on red blood cell count (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb), mean red blood cell volume (MCV) and serum ferritin (FER) levels. Methods A total of 80 cases of anemia during pregnancy from May 2020 to August 2022 were randomly divided into two groups, 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with ferrous fumarate, and the experimental group was treated with Shengxuebao mixture. RBC, Hb, MCV and FER levels were detected before and after treatment to evaluate clinical efficacy and safety, and adverse perinatal outcomes were recorded. Results The levels of Hb, RBC, MCV and FER in the two groups were significantly increased after treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of Hb, RBC, MCV and FER in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group after treatment (P<0.05). The clinical effect of experimental group was significantly better than that of control group (P<0.05). There were no significant difference in the incidence of fetal developmental delay, fetal distress, premature delivery, low birth weight and puerperal infection between the two groups (P>0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in experimental group was 5.00% and 22.50% in control group, and the incidence of adverse reactions in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Shengxuebao mixture can improve clinical efficacy and reduce gastrointestinal symptoms caused by iron treatment,and had no effect on maternal and infant outcomes,. It is safe and effective.

    Objective To explore and analyze the clinical effects of oral administration of Diclofenac Sodium Capsules combined with exercise rehabilitation in the acute phase of primary frozen shoulder. Methods A total of 52 patients with acute frozen shoulder who visited the Department of Sports Medicine at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital from June 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients received treatment with Diclofe nac Sodium Dual Release Enteric-coated Capsules combined with exercise rehabilitation. The American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Scale(ASES)scores and The Vsual Analog Scale (VAS) scores for pain and shoulder joint range of motion were compared between patients before and one month after treatment, and the treatment effectiveness and patient satisfaction were evaluated. Results There was a significant improvement in the range of motion, ASES scores and VAS scores of all patients after one month of treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.05). The treatment effectiveness rate was 94.23%, and the patient satisfaction score was (7.88±1.43)points. Conclusion The combination of oral administration of Diclofenac Sodium Dual Release Enteric-coated Capsules and exercise rehabilitation in the acute phase of primary frozen shoulder significantly alleviates pain and improves range of motion in patients. The treatment has a high effectiveness rate and patient satisfaction, suggesting that it is worthy of further promotion.

    Objective To investigate the effect of electromyobiofeedback therapy combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on hand dysfunction in stroke patients. Methods A total of 84 stroke patients diagnosed in China Rehabilitation Research Center from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected and divided into combined group (n=42) and electromyography group (n=42) according to different treatment methods. Both groups underwent routine stroke drug therapy and rehabilitation training. The EMG group and the combined group were combined with rTMS (1Hz on the healthy side, 10Hz stimulation on the affected side). EMG values, upper limb motor function (FMA-UE), activities of daily life (MBI), upper limb and hand Brunnstrom stages, and wrist active back extension mobility (AROM) scores were compared between stroke patients before and 1 month and 2 months after treatment. Results After 1 month and 2 months, the combined group had higher EMG values than the EMG group(P<0.05); after 1 month and 2 months, the FMA-UE and MBI of the combined group scores were higher than the EMG group (P<0.05); after 1 month and 2 months, the Brunnstrom stage and AROM of the combined group were higher than the EMG group(P<0.05). Conclusion EMG biofeedback therapy combined with rTMS can improve upper limb motor function and wrist mobility, and improve daily living activities in stroke patients.

    Objective To explore and analysis the effects and mechanism of Shenling Baizhu Powder on intestinal mucosal channel proteins in a young mouse model of diarrhea. Methods Young rats with diarrhea (n=42) were randomly equally divided into three groups - model group, low-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group, high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group. The three groups were given Shenling Baizhu Powder 0.0 g/kg(i.e. 0.9% sodium chloride solution), 1.2 g/kg, 4.6 g/kg by gavage, with the dose volume of 10 mL/kg, for 14 consecutive days. The expression of intestinal mucosal channel AQP8, CFTR in transmembrane transport protein NHE3 were detected. Results The body weight of young mice in the low-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group and high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group on the 7th and 14th day of treatment were significantly higher than that in the model group (P<0.05), and the diarrhea index were significantly reduced compared to the model group (P<0.05). There were also a statistical significant difference between the high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group and the low-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group (P<0.05). The ratio of urine Lactulose and Mannitol in the low-dose and high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder groups were significantly lower than that in the model group on the 7th and 14th days of treatment (P<0.05), and the high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group were also lower than that in the low-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder group (P<0.05). On the 14th day of treatment, the villus length of small intestine tissue in the low-dose and high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder groups were higher than that in the model group (P<0.05), and the crypt depth were significantly lower than that in the model group (P<0.05). There were also statistical significant difference compared between the high-dose and low-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder groups(P<0.05). On the 14th day of treatment, the relative expression levels of AQP8 protein and NHE3 protein in the small intestine tissue of the low-dose and high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder groups were higher than those of the model group (P<0.05), while the relative expression levels of CFTR protein were lower than those of the model group (P<0.05). There were also significant difference compared between the low-dose and high-dose Shenling Baizhu Powder groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Shenling Baizhu Powder can promote the recovery of body weight, reduce the ratio of Lactulose and Mannitol in urine and diarrhea index, prolong the villus length and reduce the recess depth of small intestine, promote the expression of AQP8 protein and NHE3 protein in small intestine, and inhibit the expression of CFTR protein.

    Objective To explore and analysis the effects of ginger separated purulent moxibustion and acupoint application on traditional Chinese medicine scores and CAT scores in the treatment of COPD. Methods From January 2017 to December 2019, 74 caes of stable COPD patients who underwent treatment at the Rehabilitation Department of Kangda Hospital in Siyang, Jiangsu Province were selected as the study subjects. Accorded to the 1:1 random envelope lottery principle, 74 patients were divided into the study group of 37 cases and the control group of 37 cases. The control group were treated with acupoint application, while the study group were treated with ginger separated purulent moxibustion. The treatment observation time for both groups of patients were 3 years, Determine and record the patient's Traditional Chinese Medicine score, and calculate the total effective rate based on the TCM symptom score, CAT scores, and changes in annual colds, while also recording the patient's lung function. Results After 3 years of treatment, the total effective rate of the study group were 97.30%, while that of the control group were 78.38%. The total effective rates of the study group after 3 years of treatment were significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The forced Vital capacity and forced breathing volume in the first second of the two groups after 3 years of treatment were higher than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the forced Vital capacity and forced breathing volume in the first second of the study group after 3 years of treatment were also significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The CAT symptom scores of both groups after 3 years of treatment were lower than before treatment (P<0.05), and the CAT symptom scores of the study group after 3 years of treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The annual number of colds in both groups after 3 years of treatment were lower than before treatment (P<0.05), and the annual number of colds in the study group after 3 years of treatment were also significantly reduced compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Ginger separated purulent moxibustion treatment for COPD can reduce patients' traditional Chinese medicine scores, improve lung function and overall efficacy, reduce patients' CAT symptom scores, and reduce the number of colds per year. It has a good application effect.

    Objective To explore the effect of Huolong Can Tongyin Sanyang Moxibustion on the treatment of spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome in colon cancer ascites, and provide reference for auxiliary treatment of colon cancer ascites. Methods Collect clinical data of 66 patients with colon cancer ascites and spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome who received inpatient treatment in the Suizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Affiliated with Hubei University of Chinese Medicine from April 2023 to October 2023. According to different treatment methods, 33 cases in the control group received moxibustion treatment, while 33 cases in the observation group received Huolong cupping therapy for clearing yin and three yang. Compare the changes in 24-hour urine volume, body weight, abdominal circumference, ascites regression grade, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment. Results After treatment, the observation group showed an increase in 24-hour urine output, weight loss, decreased abdominal circumference, decreased grading of ascites regression, and decreased traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The auxiliary treatment of colon cancer ascites with spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome using Huolong cupping and three yang moxibustion method has the characteristics of safety, significant efficacy, and fewer adverse reactions, which is worth applying in clinical practice.

    Objective Study the role and mechanism of Du moxibustion in the treatment of functional constipation due to qi deficiency. Methods The cases were sourced from the Outpatient Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prevention and Health Care of Tai'an City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Shandong Province. The treatment period was from September 2022 to September 2023, and 120 patients were diagnosed with Qi deficiency functional constipation. Divide patients into Du moxibustion group, Western medicine group, and Chinese medicine group according to a the random number table method. Du moxibustion group: Du moxibustion once every 10 days, 3 times per course, a total of 2 courses and 6 times of Du moxibustion. Western medicine group: Lactulose oral solution, 10 mL/time, 3 times/day, taken for 8 days with 2 days of interruption, a course of treatment per month for 2 months. Traditional Chinese Medicine Group: Take Sijunzi Tang orally, once in the morning and once in the evening, and take 200 mL warm after meals, using the same method as the Western Medicine Group.Observation indicators: Compare the clinical efficacy of three groups,before and after treatment, the conversion score of Qi deficiency in the three groups, the total score of the main and secondary symptoms of Qi deficiency constipation in patients with traditional Chinese medicine, and the laboratory observation indicators: serum motilin (MTL) and serum substance P (SP) levels. Results After the completion of two treatment courses, the total effective rate was 87.50% in the moxibustion group, 72.50% in the western medicine group, and 75.00% in the traditional Chinese medicine group. The score of Qi deficiency quality significantly decreased in the Du moxibustion group (P<0.05), while there was no statistical significant difference between the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group before and after treatment (P>0.05); The total scores of the main and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine constipation in the Du moxibustion group, Western medicine group, and Chinese medicine group were significantly reduced compared to before treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of serum motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP) were significantly increased compared to before treatment (P<0.05); Compared between groups, the conversion score of Qi deficiency and substance, as well as the total score of main and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine constipation in the Du moxibustion group were significantly lower than those in the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group (P<0.05), and the serum levels of motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP) were higher than those in the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group; There was no statistical significant difference between the Western medicine group and the Chinese medicine group in terms of the transformation score of Qi deficiency and substance, the total score of the main and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine constipation, and the changes in serum motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP) levels. Conclusion The Du moxibustion group, the Western medicine group, and the Chinese medicine group all have therapeutic effects on Qi deficiency functional constipation. However, the Du moxibustion group can also correct the constitutional bias of patients with Qi deficiency functional constipation, improve the internal environment of the human body, and further increase serum levels of motilin (MTL) and substance P (SP). Correcting the biased state of qi deficiency is the target for curing qi deficiency constipation from the root cause.

    Objective Evaluate the value of the combination of Carolizumab and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) on survival and treatment safety in the non-surgical treatment of advanced lung cancer. Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted on 300 patients with advanced non-surgical treatment of lung cancer admitted to the Radiotherapy Department of Chifeng City Hospital from April 2020 to October 2022. According to different clinical treatment methods, they were divided into a study group (150 cases, treated with SBRT) and a control group (150 cases, treated with intravenous injection of Carolizumab every three weeks, a total of four times). Both groups were treated for 3 courses (21 days per course). Collect two sets of clinical information to compare treatment efficacy, changes in inflammatory factors (IL-6, IL-10), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-a), vascular endothelial factors (bFGF, Ang-2, VEGF, MMP-9) before and after treatment, immune status (CD4+, CD8+, NK), and adverse reactions during treatment. Results The treatment effectiveness rate of the research group was higher than that of the control group, with lower levels of IL-6 and IL-10, and higher levels of TNF-a than the control group (P<0.05); The levels of bFGF, Ang-2, VEGF, and MMP-9 in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); After intervention, the immune T cell subpopulations CD4+, CD8+, and NK in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05); There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Karelizumab combined with SBRT in the treatment of advanced non-surgical lung cancer can improve clinical treatment efficacy, improve immune status, suppress tumor related inflammatory reactions, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment. It has high clinical application value.

    Study on Physical Activity Status and Influencing Factors of Elderly Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

    Objective To explore the physical activity status and influencing factors of elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods From June 2021 to December 2023, 204 elderly patients with chronic heart failure who were hospitalized in the Department of Geriatrics and Cardiology, First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were selected. Physical activity (IPAQ), exercise fear scale for heart patients (TSK-SV Heart), quality of life rating scale (SF-36) and self-burden scale (SPBS) were used to investigate them. Single factor analysis used variance analysis, independent sample T test, and multivariate analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. Results The physical activity of 72% elderly patients with chronic heart failure was in the middle and low level. The results of correlation analysis show that age, family income, education level, heart failure degree, living condition, exercise fear degree, quality of life level and self-burden level are the influencing factors of physical activity of elderly patients (P<0.05). Conclusion The elderly patients with chronic heart failure have obvious lack of physical activity, and the influencing factors on their physical activity level are as follows, especially the elderly, serious heart failure, serious exercise fear, low quality of life and the heavier self-burden level.
