Abstract: Objective To analyze the application of Yigong granule combined with oxytocin in the treatment of patients with uterine involution after cesarean section and its effect on lactation. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with uterine involution after cesarean section who were admitted to the First People's Hospital of Pingyuan County from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected for retrospective analysis, and divided into observation group (using Yigong Granule combined with oxytocin treatment, a total of 50 cases) and the control group (with oxytocin treatment, a total of 50 cases). The clinical efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions, daily milk production, average lochia volume, and disappearance time of low back and abdominal pain were compared between the two groups after one week of treatment. Finally, the changes in hormone levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); the daily lactation amount of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group after 1 week of medication (P<0.05), and the average amount of lochia, waist and abdominal pain disappeared time and other indicators were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); there was no statistical significant difference in the adverse drug reaction incidence rate between the two groups (P>0.05); the differences in follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, estradiol, and progesterone between the two groups before treatment No significance (P>0.05), follicle-stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone and estradiol in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), and progesterone was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Yigong granule combined with oxytocin has a high curative effect, which helps to accelerate the involution of the uterus, relieve the symptoms of lochia and low back and abdominal pain, and at the same time helps to increase the milk production of the puerpera without increasing the adverse drug reactions. It is worthy of popularization and application.
