    Clinical Study on the Treatment of Chronic Cervicitis with San Huang Si Wu Decoction

    Objective This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of San Huang Si Wu Tang in treating chronic cervicitis. Methods A randomized number table method was employed to select 80 patients with chronic cervicitis treated at the Affiliated Hospital of Jiujiang University from January 2022 to December 2023. Patients were randomly allocated to either the conventional Western medicine treatment group (control group) or the San Huang Si Wu Tang treatment group (Observation group) to compare the impact of the two treatment regimens on clinical efficacy. The evaluation indicators included improvement of clinical symptoms, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) syndrome score, repair of cervical erosion, changes in serum inflammatory factor levels, and the incidence of treatment-related adverse events. Results The overall effectiveness rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The proportion of cervical erosion recovery to normal in the experimental group was also significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Moreover, compared to the control group, the experimental group showed more significant improvements in TCM syndrome scores and reductions in serum inflammatory factor levels (P<0.05), with a lower incidence of treatment-related adverse events (P<0.05). Conclusion San Huang Si Wu Tang demonstrated significant therapeutic effects in treating chronic cervicitis, effectively promoting the repair of cervical erosion, reducing serum inflammatory factor levels, and possessing high safety.

    Objective To explore the physical activity status and influencing factors of elderly patients with chronic heart failure. Methods From June 2021 to December 2023, 204 elderly patients with chronic heart failure who were hospitalized in the Department of Geriatrics and Cardiology, First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University were selected. Physical activity (IPAQ), exercise fear scale for heart patients (TSK-SV Heart), quality of life rating scale (SF-36) and self-burden scale (SPBS) were used to investigate them. Single factor analysis used variance analysis, independent sample T test, and multivariate analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. Results The physical activity of 72% elderly patients with chronic heart failure was in the middle and low level. The results of correlation analysis show that age, family income, education level, heart failure degree, living condition, exercise fear degree, quality of life level and self-burden level are the influencing factors of physical activity of elderly patients (P<0.05). Conclusion The elderly patients with chronic heart failure have obvious lack of physical activity, and the influencing factors on their physical activity level are as follows, especially the elderly, serious heart failure, serious exercise fear, low quality of life and the heavier self-burden level.

    Objective To construct a nutritional nursing scheme for frail elderly in the perspective of health ecology and evaluate its application effect. Methods Through literature analysis, evidence summary, and the Delphi method, a nutritional nursing scheme for frail elderly in the perspective of health ecology was formed. The patients treated in Binzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to March 2023 were selected126 elderly patients admitted to hospital were divided into test group and control group according to the lottery method, with 63 cases each.. The experimental group received a nutritional intervention scheme based on the perspective of health ecology in the Department of Internal Medicine I, while the control group received routine nutritional nursing in the Department of Internal Medicine II. The nutritional indicators and walking ability indicators of the two groups of frail elderly patients were compared at the time of admission, and after 6 and 12 weeks of intervention. Results After 12 weeks of intervention, the experimental group showed higher levels of BMI, mid-upper arm circumference, calf circumference, albumin, prealbumin, and transferrin than the control group (P<0.05). Additionally, at 6 and 12 weeks after the intervention, the time for the experimental group to complete the time up and go test was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the 6-minute walk test distance was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The nutritional intervention scheme for frail elderly in the perspective of health ecology can improve their nutritional status and walking ability.

    Objective To investigate the effect of ginkgo biloba extract combined with ear acupoint pressing pills on posterior circulation ischemic dizziness. Methods Selected 80 cases of patients with posterior circulation ischemic dizziness in Qingyang People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022, divided into two groups randomly. The control group was treated with Ginkgo biloba extract, while the observation group was treated with Ginkgo biloba extract combined with ear acupoint pressing pills. Evaluate the symptom scores of both groups, detect critical pressure (CP), pulse wave number (Wv), minimum blood flow (Qmin), dynamic impedance (DR), cerebrovascular peripheral resistance (R), and carotid minimum blood flow velocity (Vmin). Serum levels of Nitric oxide synthase (NOS), Platelet-derived growth factor BB (PDGF-BB) were measured. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the scores of dizziness, head and body fatigue, standing instability, and dizziness between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of dizziness, head and body fatigue, standing instability, and dizziness in the two groups were significantly reduced, and the scores of dizziness, head and body fatigue, standing instability, and dizziness in the observation group were lower (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in CP, Wv, Qmin, DR, R, and Vmin between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the CP, Wv, Qmin, DR, R, and Vmin of the two groups were significantly improved, and the CP, Wv, Qmin, DR, R, and Vmin of the observation group were significantly better (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the levels of PDGF-BB, and NOS between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of PDGF-BB, and NOS in both groups were significantly reduced, and the levels of PDGF-BB, and NOS in the observation group were lower (P<0.05). Conclusion Ginkgo biloba extract combined with ear acupoint pressing pills has significant therapeutic effects on posterior circulation ischemic dizziness, can significantly alleviate symptoms, improve cerebral hemodynamics.

    Objective To investigate the effects of Huanglian Jiedu Decoction (HLJDD) combined with puerarin on glucose and lipid, vascular endothelial function and inflammatory factors in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Methods A total of 118 elderly T2DM patients admitted to Sun Simmiao Hospital in Yaozhou District of Tongchuan City from February 2020 to February 2023 were randomly divided into two groups. On the basis of conventional treatment, 59 cases in the reference group were treated with Huanglian Jiedu decoction, 59 cases in the combination group were treated with Huanglian Jiedu decoction combined with puerarin. Blood glucose, blood lipids, inflammatory factors, vascular endothelial function and other laboratory indicators were measured before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the levels of FPG, 2hPG and HbA1c in the two groups were lower than before treatment (P<0.05), and the 2hPG and HbA1c in the combination group were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of TG and LDL-C in combination group were lower than before treatment (P<0.05), but there was no difference in blood lipid levels between groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and hs-CRP in 2 groups were lower than before treatment, and lower in combination group (P<0.05). After treatment, the level of NO in the combination group was higher than before treatment, and the level of ET-1 was lower than before treatment (P<0.05), and the level of NO in the combination group was higher than that in the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion Huanglian Jiedu Tang combined with puerarin has stronger efficacy in lowering blood sugar, inhibiting inflammation, and improving endothelial function, and can be used as an auxiliary medication for elderly T2DM patients with poor blood sugar control.

    Objective To investigate the application value of modified water infusion in painless colonoscopy for female patients. Methods Random number table method had been used and patients admitted to Yantai Yeda Hospital from November 2022 to April 2024 were divided into air infusion group(100 cases) and modified water infusion group(100 cases). The patient’s age, body mass index (BMI), Boston Bowel Preparation Scale(BBPS), history of abdominal and pelvic surgery, constipation, time of reaching the caecum, reach back to the anus, polyp detection, situation of the intestinal mucosa scratches and abdominal discomfort after colonoscopy were recorded. The time of reaching the caecum was compared between the two groups. Polyp detection, situation of the intestinal mucosa scratches and abdominal discomfort were compared between the two groups. Results The time of reaching the caecum in modified water infusion group was significantly shorter than that in the air infusion group (Z=-3.868, P<0.001), but there was no statistical difference in polyp detection, situation of the intestinal mucosa scratches and abdominal discomfort. Conclusion In the application of painless colonoscopy in female patients, the modified water infusion can significantly shorten the time of reaching the caecum, reduce the difficulty of colonoscopy, reduce the risk of anesthesia, and is easy to operate and implement, with potential for application.

    Objective To investigate the effects of pulmonary wedge resection and anatomic lobectomy on postoperative rehabilitation of patients with early lung cancer. Methods A total of 84 patients with early lung cancer admitted by People's Hospital of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture from January 2019 to January 2022 were selected as research objects for a parallel retrospective study. Subjects were divided into two groups according to different operation methods (42 cases in each group). Patients in the control group and the study group underwent thoracoscopic anatomic lobectomy and pulmonary wedge resection, operation-related indexes, inflammatory stress, complication rate, postoperative pulmonary function indexes and recurrence rate, metastasis rate, mortality rate, and cumulative survival rate after 1-year follow-up after surgery were compared between the two groups. Results The pain duration, thoracic drainage time, first time out of bed and hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,with significant differences between the groups (P<0.05). The level of interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-1β ( IL-1β), hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α) in two groups of patients after surgery were significantly higher than before surgery, but lower in the study group compared to the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, accounting for 9.52% and 26.19%, respectively, and the difference between groups was significant (P<0.05). After surgery, the first second forced expiratory volume (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), peak expiratory flow (PEF), maximum ventilation volume (MVV), and vital capacity (VC) levels in both groups of patients were significantly reduced compared to before surgery, but compared to the control group, the study group had a higher level (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in recurrence rate, metastasis rate, mortality rate and cumulative survival rate between the study group and the control group during follow-up (P>0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of early lung cancer patients, compared with anatomical lobectomy, pulmonary wedge resection is more beneficial to reduce the pain and inflammatory stress of the body, has less impact on lung function, fewer postoperative complications, and shorter recovery time, which can promote the postoperative rehabilitation of patients.

    Objective To investigate the mechanism of action of hyssop alone in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) on the basis of network pharmacology. Methods The chemical composition of hyssop was searched using TCMSP, a technical platform for systematic pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine, and the active ingredient targets of hyssop were searched using Swiss Target Prediction database, and then the GeneCards database, Drugbank database and Disgenet database were used to collect AS-related targets, so as to map AS-related targets The GeneCards database, Drugbank database and Disgenet database were then used to collect AS-related targets, thus mapping the AS-related targets and the predicted targets of hyssop, and finally obtaining the predicted targets of hyssop for AS. Potential targets for drug components to treat the disease were obtained with the help of Venny 2.1. Cyto-scape software was used to generate a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network for AS treatment with bullseye. GO and KEGG pathway analysis was performed using the DAVID website, followed by molecular docking via AutoDock Vina. Finally some of the stronger binding results were selected for visualization using Pymol software. Results There were 8 potentially active compounds of Oxalis based on database screening, with a total of 212 drug targets after removing duplicate terms. These included IL6, TNF, IL1B, PTGS2, VEGFA, CXCL8 protein, etc. A total of 2 624 disease targets were obtained from the screening database. The drug component targets and disease targets were intersected to obtain a total of 91 intersecting targets. The KEGG pathway analysis yielded 97 relevant pathways, and combined with previous literature studies, 12 possible pathways were screened for the treatment of AS, mainly divided into the following 4 categories: ① immune-related pathways: Toll-like receptor signalling pathway, NF-kB, NOD-like receptor signalling pathway, intestinal immune pathway, T-cell receptor signalling pathway;② inflammation-related pathways: adipokine pathway, AK/ST pathway;③ bone metabolism-related pathways: adipokine pathway, AK/ST pathway, etc. STAT pathway; (iii) bone metabolism-related pathways: Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, TNF pathway, osteoclast differentiation, steroid hormone synthesis; (iv) delayed fibrosis-related pathways: HIF-1a pathway, HIF-2a pathway. Conclusion Oxalis knee may play a role in immune-related pathways, inflammation-related pathways, bone metabolism-related pathways, and delayed fibrosis-related pathways through multi-target and multi-pathway treatment of AS.

    Objective To explore the teaching effect of blended online and offline teaching mode in orthodontic education. Methods A total of 92 students from the Department of Stomatology at Shandong Medical College from August 2022 to July 2023 were selected, and randomly divided into the study group (n=46, blended online and offline teaching mode) and the control group (n=46, traditional teaching mode). The teaching performance, critical thinking ability, learning ability, and teaching satisfaction in both groups were compared. Results In the teaching performance (theoretical knowledge, case analysis, and practical skills), in comparison of the control group, the study group was higher (P<0.05). After teaching, the CTDI-CV scores in both groups were improved (P<0.05), and in comparison of the control group, the study group was higher (P<0.05). After teaching, SRSSDL-CV scores in both groups were improved (P<0.05), and in comparison of the control group, the study group was higher (P<0.05). In the teaching satisfaction, in comparison of the control group (80.43%), the study group (95.65%) was higher (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of blended online and offline teaching mode in orthodontic teaching can improve teaching performance, enhance critical thinking and learning abilities, and promote teaching satisfaction.

    Objective To explore the effectiveness of specialized intensified intervention guided by risk factor management in the nursing of intracranial tumor patients in the operating room. Methods Eighty-six intracranial tumor patients admitted to Liaocheng Second People's Hospital from February 2022 to June 2023 were selected as research subjects and divided into intervention group and control group according to random number table method, with 43 cases in each group.The control group was received routine operating room nursing intervention, while the intervention group was received specialized intensive intervention guided by risk factor management. The nursing quality, psychological state, adverse events, and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The quality of care score was higher in the intervention group than the significant difference in the control group (P<0.05).After the intervention, the Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI) and Beck Depression Scale (BDI-Ⅱ) scores were statistically significant (P<0.05), and the intervention group was lower than the control group, statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, which tically significant (P<0.05). The intervention group was higher than the control group, statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of specialized intensified intervention guided by risk factor management in the nursing of intracranial tumor patients in the operating room can improve nursing quality,improve psychological status,reduce the incidence of adverse events, and promote nursing satisfaction.

    Objective Around the singleton birth for the first time, the second stage of labor to evaluate the effect and its role in improving the SRQ and negative mood score. Methods Seventy cases of singleton primiparas admitted to Wuchuan County People's Hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects, and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 35 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing care during the second stage of childbirth, while the observation group received nursing intervention based on this.Delivery-related indicators, psychological stress response scores, negative mood scores, and adverse maternal and infant outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results The second stage of labor, total duration of labor and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than the control group, which the difference was significant (P<0.05).The self-assessment questionnaire (SRQ), anxiety (SAS) and depression (SDS) were lower than the control group (P<0.05).In terms of the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes, the observation group was slightly lower than the control group, but the difference was not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Implementing nursing interventions for first-time natural delivery mothers with single pregnancies using the empowerment incentive model can shorten their second stage of labor, total stage of labor, and hospital stay, and help alleviate their psychological stress reactions, reduce negative emotions, improve comfort, and improve maternal and infant outcomes.

    Objective To explore the application effect of Internet-based team-style intensive weight management intervention in obese patients. Methods A total of 80 obese patients admitted to Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects, which were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine diet and exercise intervention,and patients in the study group were jointly carried out Internet-based team-style weight intensive management intervention. After continuous intervention for 3 months, changes in body composition index, lipid and glucose metabolism index and self-management ability of patients in the two groups were compared. Results After intervention,patients in the study group had visceral fat area (VFA), percentage of body fat (PBF), body fat mass (BFM), skeletal muscle mass (SMM) and Body mass index (BMI) were lower than those of control group. Statistically significant difference (P<0.05). After intervention, the level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) in the study group was higher than that in the control group.The level of low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triacylglycerol(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) levels were lower than those of control group ,Statistically significant difference (P<0.05).After intervention,the fasting blood glucose(FPG),2h postprandial blood glucose (2 hPG), fasting insulin (FINS) and 2h postprandial insulin (2 h INS) levels were lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).After the intervention,the total score of self-management behavior scale (CDSMS) of patients in the study group was higher than the control group, which the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The team weight intensive management intervention based on Internet can help to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism, improve patients' self-management ability, and thus improve the weight loss effect.

    Objective To explore the effect of music therapy and five senses awakening therapy on postoperative coma patients with TBI. Methods A total of 96 postoperative comatose patients with TBI from January 2022 to June 2023 who were admitted in the Second People's Hospital of Liaocheng City were selected, and divided into the intervention group (n=48, music therapy and five sensory awakening therapy) and the control group (n=48, routine care) by different intervention methods. The awakening status, consciousness status, neurological function, and complications in both groups were compared. Results In comparision of the control group, the start intervening to wakefulness time of the intervention group was shorter (P<0.05), and the awakening rate was higher (P<0.05). At discharge, the GCS and FOUR scores in both groups were elevated (P<0.05), and in comparision of the control group, the intervention group was higher (P<0.05). At discharge, NIHSS scores in both groups were decreased (P<0.05), and in comparision of the control group, the intervention group was lower (P<0.05). In the incidence of complications, in comparision of the control group, the intervention group was lower (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of music therapy and five senses awakening therapy can improve consciousness and neurological function, promote patient recovery, and prevent complications in the intervention of comatose patients after TBI surgery.

    Objective To investigate and analysis the short-term and long-term prognostic effects of high-frequency oscillatory ventilation combined with budesonide in the treatment of critically ill children with bronchiolitis. Methods From February 2018 to July 2020, 74 critically ill children with bronchiolitis who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital were selected. Accorded to the 1:1 random number table method, the children were divided into the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group and the control group with 37 cases in each group. The control group were treated with budesonide, and the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group were treated with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation based on the treatment of the control group. The two groups received continuous treatment for 7 days. The short-term and long-term prognosis of all children were observed and followed up. Results After treatment, the short-term total effective rates of the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group were 97.30%, which were significantly higher than 83.78% of the control group(P<0.05). The incidence rates of adverse reactions such as pneumothorax, infection, nausea and vomiting, and venous thrombosis in the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group during treatment were 5.41%, which were significantly lower than that in the control group 27.03%(P<0.05). The tidal volume, inhalation to exhalation ratio after treatment in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, and the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group were also significantly higher than the control group after treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the PedsQLTM quality of life scores in both the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group and the control group were significantly higher than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group after treatment were also significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). During the 2-year followed-up after treatment, the recurrence rate in the high-frequency oscillatory ventilation group were 2.70%, which were significantly lower than 18.92% in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion High-frequency oscillatory ventilation combined with budesonide in the treatment of critically ill children with bronchiolitis can improve the short-term treatment effect, reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions, improve the children's pulmonary function and quality of life, and reduce the long-term recurrence rate.

    Objective To compare the early clinical efficacy of single hole split endoscopy (OSE) and unilateral dual channel endoscopy (UBE) in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation (LDH). Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 54 LDH patients admitted to Juye County People's Hospital、Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Dongming County People's Hospital from August 2021 to September 2022, who met the selection criteria. Among them, 26 cases were treated with OSE surgery (OSE group) and 28 cases were treated with UBE surgery (UBE group). The surgical time, intraoperative bleeding, pain, postoperative hospital stay, and recovery rate between two groups were evaluated and compared. Results All patients successfully completed the surgery, and there was no statistically significant difference in intraoperative bleeding, surgical time, incision length, and postoperative hospital stay between the OSE group and the UBE group (P>0.05). The follow-up results of two groups of patients at 3, 6, and 12 months after surgery were observed and compared, there was no statistically significant difference in VAS and ODI for lower back and leg pain between the two groups (P>0.05). However, over time, the VAS and ODI scores for lower back and leg pain within the group significantly decreased, and the differences at each time point were statistically significant (P<0.05). No complications such as dural sac tear or nerve root injury occurred during surgery in the UBE group; One case of superficial infection of the incision occurred during surgery in the OSE group. Conclusion There is no significant difference between OSE and UBE in terms of intraoperative blood loss, surgical time, incision length, and postoperative hospital stay in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, and both can effectively improve lumbar spine function.
