Clinical Observation and Therapeutic Analysis of Linggui Zhugan Decoction Combined with Aldosterone Inhibitors in the Treatment of Coron

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To study the effect of Linggui Zhugan decoction combined with aldosterone inhibitors in the treatment of coronary heart disease and heart failure. Methods Selected 80 cases of patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure from January 2018 to December 2022, divided into two groups randomly. The control group was treated with aldosterone inhibitor spironolactone, while the observation group was treated with Linggui Zhugan decoction. The symptom scores of chest and hypochondriac pain, palpitations, facial edema, shortness of breath, dark complexion and night sweating fatigue in the two groups were evaluated, and the left ventricular end systolic volume (LVESV), stroke volume (SV), left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), cardiac index (CI) and left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD) in the two groups were measured. Results The effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than control group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the scores of chest and hypochondriac pain, palpitations, facial limb edema, shortness of breath, dark complexion, and night sweating fatigue between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of chest and hypochondriac pain, palpitations, facial limb edema, shortness of breath, dark complexion, and night sweating fatigue in the two groups were significantly reduced (P<0.05), and the scores of chest and hypochondriac pain, palpitations, facial limb edema, shortness of breath, dark complexion, and night sweating fatigue in the observation group were lower (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in LVESV, SV, LVEDD, LVEF, CI, and LVESD between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the LVESV, SV, LVEDD, LVEF, CI, and LVESD of the two groups were significantly improved (P<0.05), and the LVESV, SV, LVEDD, LVEF, CI, and LVESD of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Linggui Zhugan Tang combined with aldosterone inhibitor spironolactone has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure, which can significantly alleviate symptoms and improve heart function.
