Warming-Needle Moxibustion Based Traditional Therapy Comprehensive Treatment of a Scoliosis Case

Abstract: Adult degenerative scoliosis and lumbar disc herniation are common clinical diseases, which are often accompanied by each other. Conservative treatment is usually the preferred treatment in the clinic. This paper reports a case of degenerative scoliosis with lumbar disc herniation. Based on the theory of 'the regular bone and soft jin', combined with the biomechanical characteristics of scoliosis, the traditional therapy based on Warming-needle moxibustion is applied for comprehensive treatment, which adjusts the muscle strength of both sides of the paravertebral muscles, improves the biomechanical balance of the spine, achieves the effect of promoting qi and blood circulation, removing tendons and clearing collateralization, effectively improves the symptoms of the patient and consolidates the curative effect. It is expected to provide reference for clinicians to treat such diseases.
