Abstract: Objective To explore the value of triglyceride glucose index ( TyG index ) and urine pH value and their combination in predicting renal calculi. Methods A total of 2 190 cases of medical checkups at the Physical Examination Center of People's Hospital of Tianfu New Area in 2022-2023 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into stone and non-stone groups according to the ultrasound results. According to the results of color Doppler ultrasound, they were divided into stone group and non-stone group. The differences between the two groups were compared. The risk factors of the stone group were analyzed by binary logistic regression model, and the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was drawn to evaluate the predictive efficiency of TyG index and urine pH value and their combination for renal calculi. Results Among the 2 190 subjects, 360(16.4%) were in the stone group. After logistic regression analysis of meaningful variables in clinical baseline data, it was concluded that TyG index and urinary pH value were independent risk factors for renal calculi. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve of TyG index, urine pH value and their combination in predicting renal calculi were 0.832,0.799 and 0.895, respectively. Conclusion TyG index and urine pH value have high predictive value for the occurrence of renal calculi, and the combination of the two has higher energy efficiency in predicting the incidence of renal calculi.
