The Exploration of Integrating Curriculum Ideology and Politics into Medical Scientific Research Innovation Curriculum in Teaching of Dermatology

Abstract: Under the background of once-in-a-century changes taking place in the world, talents cultivation should be unified with personal education, and curriculum ideology and politics could be integrated into medical scientific research innovation curriculum.Taking the dermatologic teaching as an example, we have deeply explored ideological and political elements of the curriculum, and developed the ideological and political teaching case of "Mohs micrographic surgery" in the Course of Dermatologic Surgery Technology. Furthermore, we have explored the integration of curriculum ideology and politics and scientific innovation curriculum from the perspectives of the traditional cultrue and traditional Chinese medicine, the century-old history of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, the inheritance of "red gene" and the deeds in the fight against COVID-19, in order to assume the mission of "great physician, great integrity and great achievement" and cultivate "trusted physicians by the Party and the people" for the purpose of "Healthy China".
