Exploration of Teaching Reform in the Course of Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract: Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine is a compulsory basic course in traditional Chinese medicine for non undergraduate students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine in higher education institutions. It is an important carrier course for cultivating talents in traditional Chinese medicine. With the development of society and the continuous progress of the medical field, the education of Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine needs to be constantly updated and improved to meet the needs of modern medical education. This article studies and analyzes the challenges faced by the traditional teaching model of Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine, and proposes corresponding reform suggestions, such as updating textbook content, utilizing modern educational technology, conducting experimental training teaching, emphasizing student feedback and teaching evaluation, strengthening the cultivation of teacher professional quality, and strengthening policy support. The aim is to improve the quality of education in Introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine and cultivate more composite TCM talents.
