Analysis of the Effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction Combined with Double Antiplatelet on Atherosclerotic Cerebral Infarction

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with double antiplatelet on Atherosclerotic Cerebral Infarction. Methods 176 patients with atherosclerotic cerebral infarction in Zhongxiang Changan Hospital, Jingmen City, Hubei Province from February 2020 to February 2022 were divided into observation group (Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with double antiplatelet, n=88) and control group (double antiplatelet, n=88). The clinical efficacy, neurological deficit, prognosis, hematological indicators, serum and peptidysin (CPP), N-terminal type B urinary sodium peptide (NT-proBNP) levels, and adverse drug reactions were compared. Results The total response rate of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the modified Edinburgh-Scandinavian (MESSS) and modified Rankin scale (mRS) scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the MESSS and mRS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). At 21 d after treatment, the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, and hematocrit were significantly lower than before treatment (P<0.05), moreover, the improvement in the observation group was more significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in NT-proBNP and CPP between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). NT-proBNP and CPP in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and NT-proBNP and CPP in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Neither group had any serious adverse effects during treatment. Conclusion Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with dual antiplatelet agents has significant effect on atherosclerotic cerebral infarction, and can effectively improve the prognosis of patients, reduce brain injury, with good safety and is worthy of clinical application.
