Abstract: Objective To analyze the effects of holmium laser lithotripsy on renal function and serum inflammatory factor levels in patients with ureteral stones. Methods From October 2020 to August 2022, 92 patients with ureteral calculi were enrolled from the First People's Hospital of Pingyuan County. According to different treatment methods, the patients were divided into two groups, 46 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy, while the control group was treated with traditional open operation. The changes of renal function and serum inflammatory factors in two groups were observed. Results Patients in the observation group showed better operative time, intraoperative bleeding and hospitalization time than those in the control group, and the levels of serum inflammatory factors and the overall incidence of complications after treatment were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Holmium laser lithotripsy with ureteroscopy is beneficial to improve the process of ureteral stone surgery, with good renal function improvement and efficacy performance, and has less impact on the level of serum inflammatory factors in patients' organism, providing a reliable guarantee for patients' rehabilitation results.
