Abstract: Objective To evaluate the efficacy of the combined regimen of intravenous infusion of azithromycin and Kangfu Xiaoyan Suppository in treating patients with chronic adnexitis. Methods A total of 64 patients with chronic adnexitis admitted to Jiaozhou Second People’s Hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group and experimental group according to random number table method, with 32 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with azithromycin intravenous drip, and patients in the experimental group were treated with azithromycin intravenous drip combined with Kangfu xiaoyan Shuan. The levels of inflammatory factors, symptom improvement time, hospitalization days, total effective rate and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the incidence of drowsiness, vomiting, dizziness and other adverse reactions in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The levels of interleukin-10, TUMOR necrosis factor-ɑ and interleukin-6 in experimental group were significantly lower than those in control group, while the level of interleukin-2 was significantly higher than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The improvement time of abnormal leucorrhea symptoms, lumbosacral soreness symptoms and lower abdominal distension symptoms in the experimental group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, and the length of hospitalization was also significantly shorter than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The total effective rate in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with chronic adnexitis, azithromycin intravenous drip combined with Kangfu xiaoyan suppositories can inhibit inflammatory reaction, effectively reduce the risk of complications, and improve the clinical efficacy, which is worthy of clinical application.
