Abstract: Objective To investigate the predictive value of detection of serum somatostatin(SS) and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) in predicting gastrointestinal function recovery of patients after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods A total of 200 patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy who were admitted to the Second People’s Hospital of Kashgar from January 2017 to December 2020 were included as research subjects, all patients were divided into well recovered group and poor recovered group according to recovery condition of gastrointestinal function. All clinical data were collected, the expression levels of serum SS and CGRP of all patients were detected by ELISA, the predictive value each index was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC). Results The sexuality, age, BMI, ASA grading, operation time, PACU residence time, total liquid intake and blood loss of two groups had no statistically significant difference(P>0.05), the good group was shorter than the poor group in terms of the time to first exhaust after operation, the time to first defecation after operation and the recovery time of bowel sounds, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The expression levels serum SS and CGRP of poor recovered group were higher than well recovered group, the difference was statistically dignificant (P<0.05). ROC analysis showed that the AUC, sensitivity and specificity of SS+CGRP were higher than separate detection of two indexes. Conclusion The expression levels of serum SS and CGRP could be important factors in predicting recovery condition of gastrointestinal function after laparoscopic cholecystectomy, and combined detection of two indexes had higher predictive value, while could provide reference for early intervention and improvement of postoperative recovery.
