Objective To analyze the application effect of parotidectomy in patients with benign parotid tumors. Methods 66 patients with benign tumors in parotid gland area treated in the first people's Hospital of Pingyuan County from September 2018 to October 2020 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 33 cases in each group. 33 cases in the control group were treated with traditional parotidectomy, and 33 cases in the observation group were treated with parotidectomy. The operation-related indicators, postoperative complications and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time and hospital stay of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the blood loss during operation was less than that of the control group, and the incision length was shorter than that of the control group , the difference was significant(P<0.05); the total complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05); After 3 months of follow-up, the recurrence rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion Parotidectomy has better curative effect than traditional surgery, which can effectively reduce the trauma caused by surgery, reduce the occurrence of complications, shorten the hospitalization time and accelerate the recovery of patients.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Foley catheter balloon dilatation in the treatment of patients with intussusception. Methods A total of 74 patients with intussusception who underwent surgery in Linyi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2016 to December 2020 were selected as the research objects. According to the Excel random number table, they were divided into a reference group and a study group, with 37 cases in each group. Laparotomy was performed, and the patients in the study group were treated with Foley catheter balloon dilatation. The surgical and postoperative rehabilitation indicators and the incidence of complications were observed in the two groups. Results The operation time, postoperative exhaust time, and hospitalization time of the study group were shorter than those of the reference group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the reference group, with significant differences (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was lower than that in the reference group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The Foley catheter balloon dilatation method is superior to traditional laparotomy in the treatment of intussusception, with less trauma, faster postoperative recovery, and fewer complications.
