The Impact of Abnormal Glucose Metabolism on Ischemic Stroke and Its Prevention and Treatment Strategies

Abstract: Abnormal glucose metabolism can lead to oxidative stress, chronic inflammation and endothelial dysfunction through multiple pathways, which may impair vascular remodeling and growth, and eventually lead to cerebrovascular disease and its triggers. Based on the study of the correlation between abnormal glucose metabolism and stroke, this paper discusses the influence of abnormal glucose metabolism on ischemic stroke, in order to guide the prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke caused by abnormal glucose metabolism.
