Abstract: Objective To explore the application effect of Internet-based team-style intensive weight management intervention in obese patients. Methods A total of 80 obese patients admitted to Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects, which were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given routine diet and exercise intervention, and patients in the study group were jointly carried out Internet-based team-style weight intensive management intervention. After continuous intervention for 3 months, changes in body composition index, lipid and glucose metabolism index and self-management ability of patients in the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, patients in the study group had visceral fat area (VFA), percentage of body fat (PBF), body fat mass (BFM), skeletal muscle mass (SMM) and Body mass index (BMI) were lower than those of control group. Statistically significant difference (P<0.05). After intervention, the level of high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) in the study group was higher than that in the control group. The level of low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triacylglycerol(TG) and total cholesterol(TC) levels were lower than those of control group ,Statistically significant difference (P<0.05).After intervention, the fasting blood glucose(FPG),2h postprandial blood glucose (2 hPG), fasting insulin (FINS) and 2h postprandial insulin (2 h INS) levels were lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).After the intervention, the total score of self-management behavior scale (CDSMS) of patients in the study group was higher than the control group, which the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The team weight intensive management intervention based on Internet can help to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism, improve patients' self-management ability, and thus improve the weight loss effect.
