This paper primarily explores the theoretical evolution of TCM olfactory diagnosis from the Qin-Han period to modern times, focusing on its applications involving body odors emanating from the mouth and nose, smells from excretions and expectorated substances, with the aim to enhance the accuracy of TCM diagnostics and enrich clinical practice.
