Investigation and countermeasures on the demand for campus science popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture under the background of the new era

Abstract: Objective To understand the needs for the promotion of traditional Chinese medicine culture in campus science popularization in Nannan County, so as to facilitate the smooth development of campus science popularization activities on traditional Chinese medicine culture in the future. Methods Using the "Questionnaire on demand for campus science popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture under the background of the new era", a random sampling survey was conducted among middle school students studying in five public high schools in our county to understand the basic situation and demand for campus science popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture. Results Through the survey, it was found that 63.24% of the students were relatively interested or very interested in traditional Chinese medicine culture, 60.12% of the students believed that traditional Chinese medicine culture is a traditional treasure of the nation, and 66.98% of the students believed that the introduction of traditional Chinese medicine on campus is to promote traditional Chinese medicine culture.Inheritance and development, 76.32% of students hope to participate in the campus activities of traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese culture. Conclusion Students generally support traditional Chinese medicine, have a certain understanding of its treatment and benefit from it, but have limited exposure to and strong interest in traditional Chinese medicine cultural activities on campus.In view of this, practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine should adapt to the current situation, actively take on their responsibilities, spread the culture of traditional Chinese medicine through science popularization activities on campus, and create a good atmosphere of "faith, love, and use" of traditional Chinese medicine.
