Abstract: Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of red and blue light combined system drug in the treatment of herpes zoster by meta-analysis. Methods The Cochrane Library, EMbase database, Pubmed database, China Biomedical Literature Database and China national knowledge infrastructure (CNKI) were searchedA randomized controlled trial (RCT) about red and blue light combined systemic drug therapy for herpes zoster was included, and methodological quality was evaluated, and statistical analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4 software, according to the database, Wip database, and Wanfang database. Results 8 RCT articles were included in this study, with a total of 1240 cases. The results of meta-analysis showed that the total effective rate (OR=4.92, 95%CI:2.95-8.21, P<0.00001) and recovery rate (OR=2.17, 95%CI:1.66-2.85, P<0.00001), vesicle regression time (MD=-1.16, 95%CI:-1.33-0.98, P<0.00001), scab time (MD=-1.47, 95%CI:-1.80-1.14, P<0.00001), pain relief time (MD=-2.05, 95%CI:-2.54-1.56, P<0.00001), and the effect was significantly better than that of the group using basic drugs alone, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of red and blue light system drug treatment of herpes zoster is effective, and better than the system drug group, is an effective method of photoelectric combination drug treatment of herpes zoster.
