The Curative Effect of Compound Salvia Miltiorrhiza Dropping Pills Combined with Amlodipine in the Treatment of PrimaryHypertension and its Effect on Serum Hcy, β2-microglobulin and VEGF levels

Abstract: Objective To study the effect of compound salvia miltiorrhiza dropping pills combined with amlodipine in the treatment of essential hypertension and its effect on serum Hcy, β2-microglobulin and VEGF levels. Methods Selected 80 essential hypertension patients admitted to Golmud People's Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected, and the random number table was divided into observation group and control group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group used amlodipine, and the observation group used compound Danshen dropping based on the control group. Evaluate the symptoms of dizziness, stiff neck and back, numbness in limbs, and chest tightness and pain in both groups, and irritability symptoms of both groups, and test for serum Hcy β 2-Microglobulin and VEGF levels. Results The effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than control group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the symptom scores of dizziness, stiff neck and back, numbness in limbs, and chest tightness and chest pain between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the symptom scores of dizziness, stiff neck and back, numbness in limbs, and chest tightness and chest pain in both groups were significantly reduced (P<0.05), and the symptom scores of dizziness, stiff neck and back, numbness in limbs, and chest tightness and chest pain in the observation group were lower (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the levels of serum Hcy, β2-microglobulin and VEGF (P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum Hcy, β2-microglobulin and VEGF were significantly reduced (P<0.05), and the levels of serum Hcy, β2-microglobulin and VEGF were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compound Danshen dripping pills combined with amlodipine have significant effect on primary hypertension, and can significantly reduce the levels of serum Hcy, β2-microglobulin and VEGF levels.
