Comparison of Nursing Effects between Comprehensive Nursing and Routine Nursing in Patients with Psoriasis

Abstract: Objective To compare the nursing effects of comprehensive nursing and routine nursing in patients with psoriasis. Methods A total of 100 patients with psoriasis in Jiaozhou City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to March 2023 were included. The control group (50 patients were included, providing routine care) and the observation group (50 patients were included, providing comprehensive care) were divided according to the random number table. Psychological score, social support rating scale (SSRS) score, psoriasis area and severity index (PASI), dermatology quality of life index (DLQI), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), self-care ability scale (ESCA) score, satisfaction rate were compared. Results Before nursing, there was no difference in psychological score, SSRS score, PASI, DLQI, PSQI, and ESCA score between the groups (P>0.05); after nursing, the observation group had lower psychological score, PASI, DLQI, PSQI, and higher SSRS and ESCA (P<0.05); Compared to the control group, the total satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing comprehensive nursing care for psoriasis patients can create a harmonious nurse patient relationship, reduce psychological burden, enhance self-care ability, alleviate the condition, improve quality of life and sleep, and is worth promoting.
