Abstract: Myasthenia gravis presents a complex challenge in the field of medicine, for which both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine have yet to find complete solutions. Drawing from the principles of Qi blood essence spirit in Huangdi Neijing, Song Fuyin developed a differentiated theory of Qi blood essence spirit based on contemporary societal characteristics, comprehensive psychosomatic syndrome, functional disease syndrome, pathological features, and pathogenesis of challenging diseases. By applying the theory of syndrome differentiation, Song Fuyin distinguished between "qi disease" and "essence disease" treatments and posited that certain cases of myasthenia gravis may stem from an imbalance or stagnation of "essence" caused by liver channel obstruction.

Key words: differentiation of Qi and blood essence spirit, dispelling stagnation and clearing heat, myasthenia gravis
