Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of applying concept reconstruction cognitive nursing and Roy adaptation mode nursing in elderly patients with CHF. Methods A total of 102 elderly CHF patients from October 2020 to October 2023 who were admitted in Neimenggu Autonomous Region People's Hospital were selected, and randomly divided into the intervention group (n=51, concept reconstruction cognitive care and Roy adaptation mode care) and the control group (n=51, routine care). The disease cognition, self-efficacy, and self-management ability in both groups were compared. Results After intervention, the disease cognition score, self-efficacy score scale (GSES) score, and heart failure self-care index scale (SCHFI) of both groups of patients increased compared with before intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Moreover, the intervention group had a greater increase in the above indicators than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Concept reconstruction cognitive nursing and Roy adaptation model nursing used in elderly CHF patients can enhance disease awareness, enhance self-efficacy and self-management ability.
