Abstract: Objective To analyze the detection results of patients with allergic diseases in 2023 in a hospital in Zibo city, Shandong province, and to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of patients with allergic diseases in this area. Methods A total of 596 patients with allergic diseases admitted to Zibo Municipal Hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were collected, and serum total IgE and allergen specific IgE(sIgE) results were extracted from all patients, and grouped according to gender, different age groups, months and diseases, and total IgE detection values and sIgE positive rates were statistically analyzed. Results The total positive rate of total IgE was 52.18%,there were significant differences in total IgE among different sex, age and disease groups (P<0.05). The top 3 positive rates of inhalation allergens were fungal mixture(penicillium punctata/Aspergillus fumigatus/cladosporium alternativa/cladosporium cladosporium)(32.05%),household dust mite/Dermatophagoides culinae (29.87%) and Myrtle powder(25.00%). The top 3 positive rates of food allergens were Sea fish/sea crab(8.39%), milk (6.04%) and soybean (4.70%). The positive rate of inhalation allergen detection (17.90%) was higher than that of food allergen detection (4.50%), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences among different allergens in different gender, age, season and disease groups (P<0.05). Conclusion The epidemiological characteristics of total IgE and sIgE in Zibo area were investigated, which is helpful for the diagnosis and prevention of allergic diseases in this area.
