Abstract: Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is an effective method for treating terminal knee joint diseases, which can effectively eliminate knee joint pain, significantly improve postoperative function of the affected limb, and have a low mortality rate. It has been widely used in clinical practice. However, TKA patients are mainly elderly and are prone to developing lower limb venous thrombosis, especially deep vein thrombosis (DVT), after surgery. If the thrombus falls off, it can lead to secondary pulmonary embolism, seriously threatening the patient's life safety. This article reviews the risk factors for lower limb DVT in patients undergoing TKA surgery.
