Abstract: Elderly health is paramount for individual, family, and social stability, with aging populations posing diverse health demands. Based on the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) concept of the Life-gate, fundamental to life activities and geriatric health, it deepens health awareness, facilitates lifestyle improvements, promotes mental wellbeing, and fosters tailored health strategies, addressing imbalances in personalized care. Overall, integrating Life-Gate theory significantly strengthens the theoretical and practical foundations of self-health management for the elderly, enhancing the process of healthy aging and their quality of life.
