Methods Selected 85 children with CoxA16, EV71 enterovirus infection in HFMD, Guizhou, General Hospital from August 2019 to August 2022, and divided into observation group (42 cases) and control group (43 cases) according to the method of digital table at any time. The patients in the control group were treated with ribavirin, and the patients in the observation group were treated with rectal drip of traditional Chinese medicine. The scores of oral herpes, fever, rash and other symptoms of the two groups before and after treatment were compared, as well as the inflammatory factors of patients before and after treatment. The level of immune indicators and the incidence of adverse reactions after treatment were compared in both groups and between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in the scores of oral herpes, fever and rash between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05); IL-6, IL-8, TNF in the two groups before treatment- α The level difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). After treatment, IL-6, IL-8, TNF in the two groups- α Both of them were decreased, and the above reduction of patients in the observation group was greater than that in the control group after treatment(P<0.05); After treatment, the levels of CD4+, CD3+ and CD4+ / CD8+ increased in both groups, and the level of CD8+ decreased, and the change of children in the observation group was greater than that in the control group (P<0.05); The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 4.76%, and that in the control group was 18.60%. The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of rectal drip of traditional Chinese medicine in children with CoxA16 and EV71 enterovirus infection of hand-foot-mouth disease can reduce the clinical symptoms and inflammatory reactions of children, improve the immune function, and have fewer adverse reactions, which is worthy of reference.
