Treating Pre-diabetes in Terms of Phlegm Dampness in Lanzhou According to Local Conditions

Abstract: Adaptation to local conditions is one of the basic principles in Chinese medical treatments. In essence, it is to formulate treatment plan according to the regional differences. Lanzhou is located in the northwest of China. The cold climate can impair Spleen Yang and cause damage to Spleen Qi. Then the dysfunction of the spleen leads to phlegm dampness. The authors discovered that part of pre-diabetes pertain to phlegm dampness obstruction syndrome by the way of observing Lanzhou local cases and suming up clinical experiences.Choose formulae and drug by strengthening spleen and dehumidifying expectorant can improve therapeutic effects significantly.
