Effect of Internet Combined with PBL Health Education on Psychological State and Self-Management Ability in Patients with Cirrhosis

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of Internet combined PBL health education on psychological state and self-management ability in cirrhosis. Methods A total of 87 cirrhosis patients admitted from January 2022 to July 2023 were selected as study subjects into control group (44 patients) and observation group (43 patients). Patients in the control group received routine health education for cirrhosis and the observation group received internet combined with PBL health education. Two months after the intervention, evaluation on their psychological status, self-management ability and satisfaction was performed respectively. Results After the intervention, the self-assessment anxiety scores and the self-assessment depression scores were lower than the control group; the scores of self-management ability in each dimension were higher than the control group; the satisfaction scores were higher than the control group, and the difference was significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Internet combination and PBL health education can improve patients' psychological state and improve their self-management ability.
