Abstract: Objective To explore and observe the clinical effect of meridian point dredging combined with pain point rubbing and tuina in the adjuvant treatment of anorexia in children with spleen dysfunction. Methods From December 2020 to September 2022, 78 cases of anorexia in children with spleen insufficiency diagnosed and treated in our hospital were selected as the research objects, and the children were divided into the study group and the control group with 39 cases in each group accorded to the principle of random number table method. The control group was given zinc gluconate treatment, and the study group was given meridian point dredging and pain point rubbing and tuina treatment on the basis of the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated and observed for 4 weeks. The therapeutic effects, clinical symptoms, 1/2 gastric emptying time, serum zinc and leptin content were observed in the two groups. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group was slightly higher than that of the control group, but there was no difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The 1/2 gastric emptying time of the two groups after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment (P<0.05). The serum zinc and leptin contents of the two groups after treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the serum zinc and leptin contents of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The food intake and appetite TCM syndrome scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the food intake and appetite TCM syndrome scores of study group was also significantly lower than the control group after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion The adjuvant therapy of meridian point dredging and pain point rubbing and tuina in the treatment of anorexia in children with spleen insufficiency can improve serum zinc and leptin levels, it can shorten 1/2 gastric emptying time, promote the relief of clinical symptoms in children, improve the therapeutic effect.
