Study on the Effectiveness of Acupoint Combined with Pediatric Massage Application in the Treatment of Nonspecific Chronic Cough in Children

Abstract: Objective To analysis the clinical effectiveness and value of Acupoint combined with pediatric massage application in the treatment of children with nonspecific chronic cough. Methods A total of 80 children with non-specific chronic cough admitted to the department of Pediatrics, Weihai maternal and child health hospital from March 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. Two groups of children in montelukast sodium oral granules treatment is given priority to, on this basis, the control group of children, massage therapy was used in this research by acupoints sticking, infantile tuina combined scheme, compared two groups of children with asthma symptoms, cough, sputum, cough turnaround time, forced vital capacity, forceful exhalation volume in the first second, the quality of life score and clinical treatment. Results After treatment, the improvement time of asthma, expectoration and cough in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The forced vital capacity and forceful exhalation volume in the first second in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences was statistically significant (P<0.05). The quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Acupoint application combined with pediatric massage is better than massage in the treatment of children with non-specific chronic cough, which can effectively promote the improvement of disease and improve the quality of life of children, and is worthy of clinical application.
