Visual Analysis of Research Status of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Ulcerative Colitis Based on Web of Science

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To analyse the international research status and hot spots of Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM）for Ulcerative colitis (UC) in recent decade. Methods The literatures on TCM for UC in the core database of web of science from 2011 to 2021 were searched. The cooperation among authors, countries and institutions was analyzed by CiteSpace software. Cluster analysis and emergent word analysis were performed for keywords. The co-citation of cited journals was analyzed, and the visualization map was drawn and analyzed. Results A total of 304 articles were included, including 15 core authors, and HUANGAN WU was the representative of high yield authors; China was the core countries of research; Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences were the core research institutions; GASTROENTEROLOGY was the core journal; The research focus mainly focuses on the treatment research of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion, as well as the research on the onset mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine. The research on qing dai may be the research trend in the future. Conclusion The research hotspots and frontiers of TCM for UC are distinct, which can provide reference for further research in the future.
