Abstract: Objective To explore the application of preemptive nursing in the prevention of deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity in patients with acute stroke. Methods A total of 60 patients with acute stroke who visited Xuzhou Central Hospital from January 2021 to May 2024 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group (n=30) and observation group (n=30) by random number table method. The control group implemented routine nursing mode, and the observation group implemented pre-plan nursing mode. Lower extremity skin temperature, leg temperature, blood coagulation function and lower extremity venous thrombosis were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the lower extremity skin temperature and leg circumference of the two groups were increased, while the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After intervention, the levels of prothrombin time (PT) and activated partial prothrombin time (APTT) in 2 groups were decreased, and the observation group was higher than the control group,, the levels of D-dimer (D-D) and fibrinogen (FIB) in both groups were increased, while the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence of lower extremity venous thrombosis in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion In patients with acute stroke, preemptive nursing can effectively reduce lower extremity temperature, avoid excessive leg swelling, adjust coagulation index, and reduce the risk of complications.
