Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of feeding detail management in the eating safety of children with cerebral palsy and dysphagia. Methods A total of 56 Children with cerebral palsy with dysphagia in the Department of Pediatric Rehabilitation, Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University from April 2022—March 2024 were randomly sampled and divided into control group and observation group. There were 28 cases in each group, the control group was given routine feeding care and oral sensorimotor training, and the observation group was given feeding detail management, and the incidence of unsafe eating events, feeding ability and nutritional status were compared between the two groups before the intervention and after 6 months of intervention. Results The incidence of unsafe eating events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, statistically significant(P<0.05). And the improvement in feeding ability was higher than that in the control group, statistically significant(P<0.05). The difference in body mass index and triceps subcutaneous fat thickness in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Feeding detail management can help improve the eating safety, feeding ability and nutritional status of children with cerebral palsy dysphagia.
