Abstract: Objective To introduce Professor Shao Rongshi's clinical experience in the treatment of erosive gastritis protuberans. Methods Intrinsic essence of this disease was explained through Professor Shao Rongshi's understanding of erosive gastritis protuberans in clinical practice. According to the cube of clearing heat and removing dampness and collateral method, Professor Shao Rongshi's clinical experience was introduced from four aspects of heat, dampness, deficiency and stasis in order to better guide clinical diagnosis and treatment. Conclusion The method of clearing heat, removing dampness and harmonizing collaterals by Professor Shao Rongshi, has an essential understanding of the pathogenic characteristics and pathological mechanism of this disease with significant clinical effect and good prognosis.
