Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of Tongbi Qushi Huoxue Decoction and Zidan-Yinzhuo capsule on symptom scores and serum factors of patients with blood-deficiency wind-dryness psoriasis. Methods Ninety-four patients with blood deficiency and wind psoriasis admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were divided into two groups with 47 patients in each group. Both groups received conventional western medicine treatment, the control group was treated with purple Dan psoriasis capsule, the observation group was treated on the basis of the control group, both groups were treated for 12 weeks. Compare symptom integration, disease improvement, serum factors, and clinical efficacy between the groups. Results After 12 weeks of treatment, the total score of the main and secondary symptoms in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After 12 weeks of treatment, the water content of the stratum corneum in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, while the PASI score and the number of joint pain/swelling were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After 12 weeks of treatment, the levels of IL-6, CRP, and OPN in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After 12 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion On the basis of conventional western medicine, Tongbi Qushi Huoxui Decoction is used to treat blood deficiency wind-dryness psoriasis, which can promote the recovery of skin lesions, joint pain and other symptoms, reduce inflammatory substances, and improve clinical effect.
