Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of drug canning therapy on lung cancer patients with Qi-yin deficiency. Methods A total of 80 patients with Qi-yin deficiency lung cancer admitted to our hospital from October 2022 to June 2023 were selected as research objects, and were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, and the observation group added medicine pot therapy on the basis of control group. The changes of TCM syndrome score, pain numerical scale (NRS) score, hemorheology, cancer fatigue degree and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores related to primary and secondary diseases between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After intervention, TCM syndrome scores related to primary and secondary diseases were decreased between the two groups, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in NRS scores between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05), and the scores of the two groups were decreased after intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in hemorheological indexes between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After nursing, the specific viscosity of plasma, the specific viscosity of high cut whole blood and the specific viscosity of low cut whole blood were decreased between the two groups, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in PFS-R and WHOQOL-BREF scores between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05). After intervention, PFS-R scores of the two groups were decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the WHOQOL-BREF score was increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Drug pot therapy can improve the TCM symptoms of patients with Qi-yin deficiency lung cancer, reduce the degree of cancer-induced pain, improve the level of hemorheology, reduce the degree of cancer-induced fatigue, and enhance the quality of life of patients.
