Clinical Effect of Lidocaine Cream Combined with Lidocaine and Ropivacaine on Postoperative Pain in Patients Undergoing Anal Surgery

Abstract: Objective To explore and analysis the clinical effects of Lidocaine cream combined with Lidocaine and ropivacaine on postoperative pain in patients undergoing anal surgery. Methods From October 2022 to July 2023,84 cases of mixed hemorrhoids patients undergoing surgery in Hanzhong Central Hospital were selected as the study objects,and the other 84 cases of patients were divided into 42 cases in the research group and 42 cases in the control group accordedto the principle of random dice rolling.The research group were gave lidocaine and rovacaine and lidocaine cream, and the control group received lidocaine and rovacaine alone.Postoperative pain,quality of life,complication rate and satisfaction with anesthesia were recorded in both groups. Results The pain VAS score at 24 h, 48 h and 72 h at the research group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life scores of mental health, physiological function, overall health, and physical pain in research group group at 72 hours after surgery were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications, such as urinary retention, anal swelling, nausea and vomiting, was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction of anesthesia at 72h was significantly higher than the control group, statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Applying Lidocaine cream combined with Lidocaine and ropivacaine can effectively relieve the pain of patients after anal surgery, reduce the incidence of complications and improve the satisfaction, quality of life scores of patients with anesthesia.
