Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of Huolong Can Tongyin Sanyang Moxibustion on the treatment of spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome in colon cancer ascites, and provide reference for auxiliary treatment of colon cancer ascites. Methods Collect clinical data of 66 patients with colon cancer ascites and spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome who received inpatient treatment in the Suizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Affiliated with Hubei University of Chinese Medicine from April 2023 to October 2023. According to different treatment methods, 33 cases in the control group received moxibustion treatment, while 33 cases in the observation group received Huolong cupping therapy for clearing yin and three yang. Compare the changes in 24-hour urine volume, body weight, abdominal circumference, ascites regression grade, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores between the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment. Results After treatment, the observation group showed an increase in 24-hour urine output, weight loss, decreased abdominal circumference, decreased grading of ascites regression, and decreased traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The auxiliary treatment of colon cancer ascites with spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome using Huolong cupping and three yang moxibustion method has the characteristics of safety, significant efficacy, and fewer adverse reactions, which is worth applying in clinical practice.
