Abstract: Menstrual migraine belongs to the category of "headwind" and "internal injury headache" in traditional Chinese medicine. According to the principle of "treating the symptoms as soon as possible, and treating the root causes as soon as possible", it can be divided into attack period and intermittent period. "Women are based on liver and use blood". Professor Fang Chaohui believes that although there are many causes of migraine caused by menstruation, its acute attack period is most closely related to hyperactivity of liver yang and disturbance of the liver meridian, so the clinical syndrome is mainly to calm the liver and clear away heat, calm the wind and dredge the collaterals; The intermission and remission period are closely related to the menstrual qi deficiency and blood stasis, and the deficiency of liver and kidney leads to the loss of nutrition in clearing the orifices. Therefore, the clinical syndrome is mainly to soothe the liver and promote blood circulation, and regulate and replenish the liver and kidney. At the same time, with the method of ear acupoint burying beans, the meridians are harmonious and the qi and blood are smooth. Different prescriptions are given at different stages of treating migraine patients with different syndromes and migraine patients with the same meridian. With this dialectical treatment, a better clinical effect has been achieved.
