Study on Mental Health Service Model of the Widowed Elderly from the Perspective of Strategies and Skills Learning and Development

Abstract: With the acceleration of the aging process of the population, the number of elderly widows is also increasing. The mental health problems of the widowed elderly are also increasingly prominent, and there are widespread problems such as strong loneliness and difficulty in adapting to the role. This study builds a mental health service model for the widowed elderly based on the theory of knowledge, action and easy path. It first identifies the needs of the widowed elderly from six fields of physiology, motivation, cognition, emotion, behavior and environment, then defines intervention goals and constructs intervention measures to effectively achieve individual life goals. Improve the quality of life of the widowed elderly, and provide reference for exploring the path of social life reconstruction of the widowed elderly.
