Abstract: Currently, nutrition therapy has become an important part of disease treatment, and its effective implementation requires professional nursing. Cultivating qualified nutrition specialist nurses is a key factor in improving the quality of clinical nutrition therapy. However, there are still some problems in China's current nutrition specialist nurses training programs, such as significant differences in trainee' starting points, low enthusiasm for teaching activities, and insufficient clinical teaching resources. The hierarchical progressive training model is guided by differences and sets progressive and upward phased training objectives based on the trainees' different education levels, professional titles, work departments, and work experience. Its core purpose is to improve nutrition specialist nurses' clinical professional ability, leadership and management ability, professional and humanistic qualities, guidance and collaboration ability and professional development ability.
