Abstract: Objective To investigate the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease and the correlation between AD7C-NTP in middle-aged and elderly people undergoing physical examination in Zigong area. Methods From January 2021 to June 2022, 1 460 subjects were selected to undergo physical examinations in the Health Management Department of the First People's Hospital of Zigong City. In addition to routine physical examination, 1 460 patients were also tested for Alzheimer's disease related neurofilament protein AD7c-NTP. Based on the results of AD7c-NTP, subjects with abnormally elevated urinary AD7C-NTP were selected and divided into normal AD7C-NTP group (n=1 250) and AD7C-NTP-elevated group (n=210). Blood biochemical index data were collected and compared between the two groups. At the same time, people with high AD7c-NTP were screened for Alzheimer's disease through simple mental state examination (MMSE) and MRI, and according to the Clinical Dementia Rating Scale (CDR). Analyze the differences in AD7C-NTP levels in different degrees of AD. Results Among the 1 460 examinees, there were 210 cases with abnormal increase in urine AD7c-NTP, accounting for 14.38%. There were differences in serum Cr, TBIL, GLU, TC, and LDL between individuals with abnormal AD7c-NTP elevation and normal individuals (P<0.05); Among the 210 individuals with high AD7C-NTP levels, 152 (72.38%) were diagnosed with AD, and there were differences in AD7C-NTP levels among AD patients with different cognitive impairments (P<0.05); The level of AD7c-NTP is positively correlated with Cr, GLU, TC, and LDL (P<0.05), negatively correlated with MMSE, and not significantly correlated with TBIL (P>0.05). Conclusion There is a correlation between AD7c-NTP levels and cognitive function, which can be used as one of the auxiliary methods for early screening of AD; The level of AD7c-NTP is correlated with Cr, GLU, TC, and LDL, and high Cr, GLU, TC, and LDL are one of the risk factors for the onset of AD.
