Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of action-oriented continuous nursing in the management of elderly patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). Methods A total of 60 elderly patients with MCI admitted to The Third Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical University from January to December 2022 were selected as research objects and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received action-oriented continuous nursing. The data of cognitive function, self-management ability, quality of life, falls and so on were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistical significance in all indexes before nursing (P>0.05). After nursing, the cognitive function score of observation group was higher than that of control group (P<0.05); The self-management ability of observation group was higher than that of control group (P<0.05). The life quality score of observation group was higher than that of control group (P<0.05). The number of falls in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion When nursing elderly patients with MCI, action-oriented continuous care intervention can effectively improve patients' cognitive function, enhance patients' self-management ability, improve patients' quality of life, and reduce the possibility of patients falling.
