Abstract: Objective To analyze the effect of speech and hearing feedback nursing on post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI). Methods A total of 82 elderly patients with PSCI admitted to Juancheng County People's Hospital from August 2020 to July 22 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was given routine rehabilitation nursing, and the research group was given verbal and auditory feedback nursing on the basis of the control group. The scores of the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA), the Simple Mental State Examination (MMSE), the markers of nerve injury [matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), neuron-specific enolase (NSE)], the modified Barthel Index Scale (MBI) and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After 10 weeks of intervention, the scores of MoCA and MMSE in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After 10 weeks of intervention, the indexes of MMP-9 and NSE in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After 10 weeks of intervention, the score of MBI scale in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of nursing service in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Speech and hearing feedback nursing can effectively improve the cognitive function of elderly patients with PSCI, inhibit nerve injury, improve activities of daily living and nursing satisfaction, and is suitable for clinical promotion.
