Abstract: Esophageal cancer is characterized by high malignancy degree, complicated disease, many accompanying symptoms and high recurrence rate, so it is especially important for patients to self-evaluate, timely detection and self-management of their own symptoms. In order to explore the symptom cluster and symptom management strategies of esophageal cancer patients during treatment, increase the depth and breadth of the understanding of self-management status, this article will review the qualitative and quantitative research to provide the basis for the designation of later management strategies.
