Visual Analysis of Research Hotspots of Domestic and International Ehealth Literacy Based on CiteSpace

Abstract: Objective To provide a reference for the research on improving eHealth Literacy of different stages of population in china, by analyzing and comparing the research hotspots of eHealth Literacy at domestic and international. Methods The CNKI and Web of Science core collection databases were selected to retrieve the literature published from January 1999 to December 2021, the total 698 literatures were analysed by Citespace visual analysis. Results In this study. The number of foreign publications was generally on the rise, research hotspots of eHealth Literacy were theoretical research, influencing factors, access channels, and access capabilities, as well as eHealth assessment and application, health interventions for chronic diseases, public health care, etc. However, the number of articles published in China is still in its initial stage, showing a slow upward trend. Domestic research institutions lacked cooperation, while the research of eHealth Literacy focused on theoretical models, influencing factors, measurement and application, and health interventions, and other aspects. Conclusion The research on e-health literacy in Chima and abroad is in its infancy, and more exploration and development will be needed in the future.
